The Studio Gallery displays handmade glass art in a variety of forms and jewelry by local and other glassblowing artists. The Studio welcomes custom orders and installations.

Our Hot Shop is accessible to visitors every day. Come watch live glassblowing by students and professionals. Try it for yourself in one of our hands-on experiences. Suitable for absolute beginners as well as groups, our glassblowing experiences immerse you in the heat of the Hot Shop and your glass artwork is yours to keep!

]]> Founded in 2021 as an online magazine dedicated to spotlighting and uplifting art and culture from the African diaspora, in 2022 ARTE NOIR expanded its footprint with a physical space in the Central District, the heart of Seattle’s historic Black community.

ARTE NOIR’s mission is to be a gathering place for exploring the dynamic creativity of the African diaspora, with the added component of a gallery showcasing Black art, a retail space generating revenue for Black artists, and creating room for training and serving the needs of the Black creative community.

In the coming months, ARTE NOIR will expand to include a small recording studio for training young people in audio and music production. Additionally, an art and maker space will be completed for classes and artist use.
